How to Edit a Component Name

Once a component has been added to your assembly, you can edit the name of the component to suit your needs.

Click the component and select the Edit button from the Edit Bar. 

Then you can change the Component Alias within the Edit Component window. Click OK to save. 

You can also double-click the component name to highlight it. You can then start typing in the new component name.

Alternatively, you can double-click the component name and then use the Font Editor on the right-hand side, to edit the component name. You can also change the Font Size and Font Color with the Font Editor.
